How to Disconnect from a Hub
Overview
This guide describes how to disconnect from hub.
Audience
Users that wish to disconnect from hub.
Flow of Events
1. Choose Hub
Select a table that has been made into an hub with XLhub, and make sure that this is the hub you wish to remove. You can check to see if the table is a hub:
- If the Create New Hub icon is inactive when a cell in your table is selected, you know that the table has been “hubbed” with XLhub. The Create New Hub icon is in the XLhub ribbon under Table Management group.
- The name of your hub will also appear as a group name in the XLhub ribbon. If the hub is in the file you have open, the Save and Retrieve icons will also be active in your hub group.
2. Disconnect Hub
- Select a cell in the table.
- In the XLhub ribbon, under the Table Management, click the Disconnect from Hub button.
- A window will appear asking if you want to proceed. Click Yes.
Congratulations!
You Have Successfully Removed a Hub
NOTE: The data in your table may still be saved in our SQL database, and it is still accessible if there exist other versions of your “hubbed” table or if you have shared your hub. You can also reconnect to the hub by using ‘Connect to Hub’ functionality.
